Many eligible farmers are yet to join the PM Kisan Samman Fund (PM Kisan) scheme. The central government has made several important suggestions to the states to cover such farmers.
In fact, this question was asked in the Lok Sabha about what the government is doing for farmers who are out of the Prime Minister’s Summon Fund. Answering this question, Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar has suggested that states should organize awareness campaigns and registration campaigns. With this, farmers can register themselves through the Farmer’s Corner, available on the PM-Kisan portal, Narendra Tomar said. At the same time, if the farmer wants to edit his or her name in the database, there is an option. Farmers can check their payment details on this portal.

Narendra Tomar informed that farmers can contact CSC village level entrepreneur VLE to register themselves under the PM Kisan scheme. Facilities available at Farmer’s Corner are also available through CSC’s VLEs. In addition, the mobile app has been launched, which offers features available at the farmers’ corner on the PM Kisan portal.
What is the plan Let us tell you that under the PM Samman fund scheme, farmers are paid Rs 6,000 annually. During this time, 2,000 installments are given every four months. This amount is transferred directly to the Farmers’ Bank Account. Beginning in 2019, there have been eight episodes of the project. Under this, the money was transferred to about 9 crore 50 lakh farmers for the last time in May.
