Corona virus vaccine may be available to the Indian public at any time after mid-March. Union Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan gave this information in Parliament on Friday. Harshvardhan told parliament that people with wind in 50 years will be involved at this stage. This is because people over the age of 50 are at high risk for coronavirus.

Please tell us that coronavirus vaccination started in India on January 16 this year. Since then, health workers, police and frontline workers have been vaccinated since the first week of February. In the first phase of the vaccination, about one crore health workers from the public and private sectors have been targeted for immunization, the health minister told parliament.

About 2 crore frontline workers need to be vaccinated in the second phase, the health minister said, adding that the second phase of the vaccine has been launched in many places in the country since February 2. Once the first and second phase are completed, the third phase will begin, in which all people over the age of 50 will be vaccinated, he said. The health minister said he may not be able to give a date for this, but it is likely that the vaccination will begin in the second, third or fourth week of March.

The minister said the government has enough to do more vaccination and the existing cold storage facilities under the Universal Immunization Program have been strengthened and used to collect vaccines. As of February 1, more than 2 crore vaccines have been issued to all states and union territories.

More than 56 lakh vaccines have been given so far
More than 56 lakh people have been vaccinated against the Kovid-19 vaccine in the country so far and there have been no serious adverse effects or deaths since the vaccine, the Union Health Ministry said on Saturday. Speaking to the ministry’s Under Secretary Manohar Agnani, a total of 5636868 people have been vaccinated, of which 5266175 are health workers and 370693 are frontline staff. Vaccination for front-line staff was launched on February 2.
