The total number of infected persons (nationwide) increased to 2129821 with 8702 new infections during this period. 8807 cases were reported on Wednesday, 6318 new cases on Tuesday, 5210 on Monday, 6971 on Sunday, 6281 on Saturday and 6112 on Friday.
