The Indian team, which played only one series in the midst of the Kovid-19 epidemic, will visit England next month and play the first Test in seven years. On the England tour, the team has to play three ODIs and many T20 internationals. Australian fast bowler Megan Schute has suggested that India can visit their country in September.
However, Cricket Australia has not yet confirmed the schedule. The ODI and T20 are expected to be played on this tour. “No balls, we have to play a series against India in mid-September so there is going to be some camping. It will be in Darwin.”
The Cricket Board (BCCI) approved the tour of Australia at the last meeting of its Supreme Council ahead of next year’s World Cup in New Zealand. The domestic series against the West Indies was also sanctioned. Australia’s tour was initially scheduled for January this year but the World Cup was postponed until 2022 amid the Kovid-19 pandemic.
