The Apple iPhone 12 series has been selling well worldwide. In the seven months since its launch, global sales of the iPhone 12 series have crossed 100 million units, according to Counterpoint Research. Apple only made this feat in April 2021 and the series made the record two months earlier than last year’s iPhone 11 series.
5G support and OLED display is a big hand
Thanks to this stellar performance, the iPhone 12 series is the fastest-selling series since the iPhone 6s. According to Counterpoint, the iPhone 12 series is highly loved by users all over the world because all of its models come with 5G support and an OLED display.

Most liked the top-end variant
According to Counterpoint Research, users liked the top-end variant of the iPhone 12 series, such as the iPhone 12 Pro Max. The iPhone 12 Pro Max sold 29 percent of the bang in the series. At the same time, the top variant of last year’s iPhone 11 series – the iPhone 11 Pro Max, contributed just 25 percent of the series’ total sales.
Lack of charger and headphones did not affect the cell
According to Counterpoint, despite the lack of chargers and headphones with the iPhone 12 series in the US, the sales of the devices have not been significantly affected. US users accounted for 40 percent of the global sales of the iPhone 12 Pro Max until April. What’s special is that the iPhone 12 Pro Max has remained the best-selling handset in the US since December 2020.

The corona epidemic also benefited
The corona epidemic had some hand behind the big sale of the iPhone 12 series. The pandemic did not have much impact on the iPhone 12 series compared to the iPhone 11 series.
