Reliance Jio’s Jio Phone Next sale will start from September 10. However, the company has not yet revealed the price of the Geo Phone Next. Analysts believe that the price of the Geophone Next could range between Rs. Google’s partnership with Geo provides affordable 4G smartphone competition for entry-level smartphones such as Redmi, RealMe, Micromax and Lava The issue was addressed in an Economic Times report.
India currently has around 300 million feature phone users
According to an Economic Times report, the device’s aggressive pricing, attractive data package and good specifications play a key role in the success of the Geo Phone Next. There are currently 85 crore mobile phone users in India, of which about 55 crore are smartphone users. The remaining 300 million are feature phone users. The potential market for Jio’s new device is 300 million, for which the addressable market is expected to be 14-15 million. Of these, 6-65 million Geophone users (launched a few years ago) can go for updates. CyberMedia Research has said this.
