Potatoes are currently selling at Rs 10 to Rs 15, while onion prices have gone up by Rs 20 in the last 5 days. According to statistics provided on the website of the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, onions rose from Rs 25 to Rs 45 in Jaipur compared to February 1.

During this period, the rate of onion was Rs 15 per kg. Moreover, in many cities of the country, Mumbai, Delhi and Muzaffarpur, onion prices have gone up by Rs 1 to Rs 20 in the last five days. But in cities like Raiganj, Imphal, Srinagar, Nagpur and Kanpur, onions are also cheaper, ranging from one to 10 rupees.

While the retail price of onions in most cities of the country ranged from Rs 20 to Rs 60 on Friday, in most cities it was selling above Rs 50.
