A team of researchers from the University of Cambridge can come up with such a battery charging system that can fully charge the smartphone’s battery in just 5 minutes. This was stated in an independent report. The research team is headed by Dr Ashray Rao of Cavendish Lab, Cambridge.

The team has developed a mechanism to control the charging speed, which has helped to charge the batteries very fast. Recently, Xiaomi introduced its fast charging 200W hypercharge technology. With its help, the Mi11 smartphone is fully charged in just 8 minutes. The drawback of this Xiaomi’s system is that it does not work on devices other than the Mi11.

Very cheap new fast charging technology
It is said that Cambridge’s charging technology is very cheap and extends the battery charging cycle. Moreover, it protects from overheating.
