The 30-share BSE Sensex rose by 1,019.46 points, or 2.26 per cent, to Rs. Reliance Industries’ valuation rose to Rs 12,71,438.23 from Rs 37,434.4 crore.

Market capitalization of Reliance Industries, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Hindustan Unilever, Infosys, HDFC, Kotak Mahindra Bank, ICICI Bank and Bharti Airtel increased in the week under review. Market valuation of HDFC Bank and Bajaj Finance fell.
TCS, Infosys, ECICI Bank to increase market reach
TCS’s market valuation increased by Rs 21,557.45 crore to Rs 10,44,457.52 crore. The market cap of Kotak Mahindra Bank rose to Rs 3,80,247.43 crore from Rs 14,798.9 crore. Infosys market capitalization rose to Rs 4,95,401.04 crore from Rs 12,096.98 crore a week ago. ICICI Bank’s valuation rose to Rs 3,55,529.51 crore from Rs 9,031.76 crore. HDFC’s market capitalization rose from Rs 8,988.46 crore to Rs 4,13,181.19 crore and Bharti Airtel Rs 5,537.39 crore to Rs 2,74,987.37 crore.

In contrast to this trend, Bajaj Finance’s market capitalization declined from Rs 1,919.24 crore to Rs 2,91,839.07 crore. HDFC Bank’s market cap fell by Rs 1,624.45 crore to Rs 7,61,122.91 crore. Reliance Industries tops the list of top 10 companies. TCS, HDFC Bank, Hindustan Unilever, Infosys, HDFC, Kotak Mahindra Bank, ICICI Bank, Bajaj Finance and Bharti Airtel followed suit.
