An ongoing three-day practice match between Team India and County Select XI was caught on Thursday. On the third and final day of the three-day warm-up match, India declared their second innings for 192 for three after being led by 91 runs in the first innings. County Select XI needs 284 to win. When both teams agreed to win the match, County Select XI scored 31 runs in 15.5 overs with no loss. In the second innings for India, Hanuma Vihara was unbeaten on 43 and Cheteshwar Pujara scored 38.
Mayank Agarwal, Ravindra Jadeja, KL Rahul, Mohammad Siraj and Umesh Yadav performed brilliantly in this warm up match for India. This is a positive thing for Team India ahead of the five-match Test series against England from August 4. Mayank Agarwal scored 28 and 47 in the match. Cheteshwar Pujara came to bat with him in the second innings. They both added 87 for the first wicket.
