Google Meet has added new features like question / answer and poll. Google says that these question-and-answer features will help the host to engage better with the audience. Can address their questions. It can be used in professionals as well as schools. Teachers can use the Q&A feature to ask students questions and address them in a more systematic way. This question and answer feature of Google will help students to question without disturbing the call.
Google wrote in one of its blog posts, “The new question-and-answer feature will help make business meetings more exclusive. This allows everyone the opportunity to ask questions – even those who speak less and those who engage in noisy environments or those who need more time to process their thoughts. Participants can present and upgrade their favorite questions without interrupting the flow of calls. ”

Hosts and mediators must first enable the question and answer feature. Moderators can choose which question they want to address. Once the meeting is over, the host receives an email. Which also contains all the submitted questions. It is worth noting that presenting queries for the G Suite Enterprise for Education domain is disabled by default. For everyone else, submitting questions by Google will be open by default.
Google says that the new feature with Poles can help participants understand real-time feedback. Both these features will be available for G Suite users from October 8.
