Ingredients for making Kashmiri Puri
-1 cup wheat flour
-1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
-1 tsp milk powder
-2 cups yogurt
-1 tsp fennel seeds (roasted and coarsely ground)
-1/4 cup hot milk
-1 tbsp dry yeast
-1 tsp poppy
-2 tsp sugar
– Some saffron flakes
Salt to taste
– Ghee to dry

The method of making Kashmiri Puri
To make Kashmiri Puri, first, pour the yeast, 1 tbsp sugar and hot milk in a pot, cover and set aside for 30 minutes. Now in a second bowl, mix the flour, wheat flour, salt, sugar, fennel powder and yeast solution as needed. Knead the dough for about 10 to 15 minutes, so that the flour softens. Now cover this dough with a cloth and set aside for 6-7 hours. Add saffron, yogurt and poppy seeds in a pot and cover for 15 minutes. Now take the dough and take it out completely. Spread some saffron mixture over the puri. After this, heat the oil in the skillet and fry until the puris are golden. Your Kashmiri Puri is ready.
