During this period, the number of Indian students fell by four percent, while India accounted for 18 percent of international students seeking higher education in the US, with 193,124 students. The Open Door report was recently released by the US Interior Ministry’s Bureau of Education and Cultural Affairs and the International Education Agency.

The USISPF has stated that there is enormous potential in the higher education sector in terms of trade and investment between the two countries and it is also important for the economic growth of both countries.
