TVS Jupiter accelerated, Honda Activa slowed down, these are the top 5 best-selling scooters in the country

Best-selling scooters: The demand for scooters in the Indian market is very high. People prefer scooters because of their low price, low maintenance and usability. Honda Activa has always been the most popular scooter segment in the automobile scooter category, but TVS Guru is the second best-selling scooter in the country. In the last month of February, Activa took the number one spot again and Jupiter took second place.

Honda Activa may be the best-selling scooter in the country in February, but scooter sales have fallen. Last February, the company sold a total of 2,09,389 units of Honda Activa, 6 percent lower than the year-ago period. The company had sold 2,22,961 units in February last year.

TVS Guru, on the other hand, recorded a 66 per cent increase in sales last February. TVS Motors sold 52,189 units in February, up from 31,440 units in February last year. With that, it is the second best-selling scooter in the country.

Suzuki Access ranks third. In February, Suzuki Motors sold 48,496 units of its famous scooter. The company sold a total of 50,103 units of this scooter in February last year, though its sales fell nearly 3 percent.

The Honda Dio

Honda’s other scooter, the Dio, is fourth on the list. The company sold a total of 28,171 units of this scooter in the month of February, up 6 percent from a year earlier. In February last year, the company sold 26,494 units of this scooter.

Hero Pleasure is the last name in the country’s fifth best-selling scooters. Hero MotoCorp is the cheapest scooter, which saw a 174 per cent increase in sales in February. The company sold 23,106 units of this scooter in the month of February, compared to 8,435 units in February last year.
