Union Home Minister Amit Shah has admitted to the AIMS for treatment of chest infections and stability

Union Home Minister Amit Shah has been admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIMS) in Delhi on Monday (August 17). Shah was hospitalized due to chest infection and his condition is stable.

Shaw underwent a CT scan at a private hospital on Monday and test results revealed he had a slight infection in his chest. Shaw decided to enter the Ames on the advice of his doctors. Shah is currently under observation of chest specialist Dr Randeep Gularia. Shaw is expected to be on view for 24 hours at Ames.

On August 14, Shaw had tested negative for coronavirus COVID-19, about two weeks after testing positive for viral disease. Taking home the micro-blogging site Twitter, the home minister himself published his test results.
