NCERT Books on the UP Board: National Academic Research and Training Board (NCERT) textbooks will be launched in three more classes of the UP Board. NCERT books will be applicable to the UP Board during the academic session (2021-2022).

Tenders for the publication of these books may be issued in January 2021 as part of the preparations for the implementation of NCERT books on the UP Board. The books will be available in the market from the third week of March. A UP board official gave this information to the Hindustan Times about the condition of anonymity.

According to the new curriculum, the content of English literature in grades 9 and 11 has increased. However, the 11th and 9th curriculum has already been significantly reduced due to the Kurana epidemic.

Of course this change is also seen in general Hindi, business studies and accountancy. These topics are mandatory for students who have courses in 11th grade. Students are required to choose Economics, English, Mathematics and Computer as two of these subjects.

In the last two years, the UP Board has implemented NCERT books in 24 issues. Now 31 books on 18 different subjects of 9 different classes have been launched for the 2018-019 session on the UP board.

Prior to this, the Board had implemented NCERT curriculum books in History, Geography, Civilization, Economics and Sociology at the high school and the 12th grade for the 2019-20 session.
