Opportunity to change post priority
The board has the option to change the post preference before the test. The Board has issued a notice on its official website uppbpb.gov.in. The Board stated that all applicants (prison warders, firefighters, and constable cavalry police) will be assigned posts based on the superiority and preference of their marks (merit lower order priority). Such candidates are required to select their preferred ranks for three posts, including prison warders for women and men, firefighters (men) and constable mounted police. Candidates can change their preferred order until December 10, 2020 for the board’s website uppbpb.gov.in.
If the candidates do not choose a preferential order by December 10, 2020, the priority order of the posts determined by the Board shall be – 1. Fireman. 2. Prison Warder 3. Constable Mounted Police.
