The Residential Coaching Academy (RCA) of Jamia Hamdard has invited applications for the preparation of competitive exams for UPSC Civil Services Exam Prelims cum Mains, 2021 and other central and state government jobs. Minority, SC, ST and women candidates can avail this opportunity. The application deadline is October 20, 2020.

Graduation from any recognized university ie BA / BSc / B.Com / B.Tech / B.Pharm or equivalent examination. The application fee for the entrance examination for coaching is Rs 200. The selection will be on the basis of entrance test which will consist of multiple choice questions in General Studies and CSAT. There will be a provision for negative marking in the examination. One third mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
The written test will be held in Delhi and Kannur, Kerala. GD / PI will be operated at Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi.
Applicants who succeed in the entrance examination will be given free coaching facility with hostels (UPSC IAS Free Coaching Online Form). The application can be made by visiting the official website jamiahamdard.edu.
Interested and eligible candidates can apply online. The last date for submission of applications is 20 October 2020 till 5 pm. The entrance exam will be held on Saturday, October 31, 2020.
The Jamia Hamdard Residential Coaching Academy was established in September 2009 based on the Sachar Committee report. Since its inception, the academy has trained and trained around 1000 candidates. So far, around 70 candidates have been selected in the UPSC Civil Services Examination and more than 180 candidates have been selected in various central services like Staff Selection Commission, Intelligence Bureau and Banking Services.
Students are given free accommodation, library facility, practice sets, study material and 24×7 library facility and Wi-Fi facilities during the preparation.
20% candidates scholarship
20% of the candidates selected will be awarded with 2,000 scholarships per month. Applicants must produce the income certificate of the Tehsildar (Revenue Officer) of their block or mandal or their parents duly issued by their employer to get the scholarship. The scholarship will be awarded for a period of ten months which will start with staying in the hostel. However, a candidate will be eligible for scholarship for only one term of his / her stay at the academy.
