UPSEBBGT PGT Notification 2020: Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Services Selection Board, Prayagaraj has canceled the notification of 15508 appointments of TGT PGT teachers. The decision was made after a legal opinion by the Selection Board of Secondary Education Services. It was found that it was wrong to adopt two criteria to give both temporary and new candidates in a single written examination. The exclusion of TGT biology brought legal complications. For this reason it was decided to cancel the recruitment notification. Let us tell you that on October 29, the Secondary Education Services Selection Board, Prayagaraj issued a blank notification of 15508 posts for TGT and PGT teachers. It consisted of 12913 posts of Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT) and 2595 posts of Spokesperson (PGT). The deadline for application is set for November 27. For the first time in the recruitment, 10 per cent reservation has been made for candidates in the financially vulnerable (EWS) category.
Referring to the Supreme Court order dated August 28 in Sanjay Singh’s case, the Advocate General gave his legal opinion on November 13 to two different criteria for giving temporary teachers and new candidates marks in the written examination of the same cadre. Choose this background, the Council can adopt, on 29 October, the Supreme Court issued directions opposed to advertising. If chosen according to this ad, it rejects the Supreme Court order.
Therefore, ads served by two points are entitled to cancellation. Following the Supreme Court’s order, there is literally a need for a new advertisement. Candidates who have applied online so far do not have to re-apply for the new ad. For that, NIC will be requested to make provision in the software.
