Vodafone Idea defeats Geo and Airtel in terms of 4G upload speeds, leading the company in download speeds

The Telecom Regulator (TRAI) released data relating to 4G internet speeds on Wednesday. According to the latest data, Reliance Jio topped the list with a download speed of 20.7 megabits (MBps) per second in May. On the other hand, Vodafone Idea tops the list with 6.7 mbps data speeds, leaving Airtel and Geo at upload speeds. According to TRAI, Vodafone Idea achieved an average upload speed of 6.3 Mbps in May. After this, the upload speed of Reliance Jio was 4.2 mbps and Bharti Airtel 3.6 mbps.

Let us tell you that the speed of Reliance Jio’s 4G network is slightly higher, but it is more than three times the Vodafone Idea, the average download speed of Vodafone Idea was 6.3 mbps. For the first time since the Vodafone and Idea merger in August 2018, know that TRAI has added their network speeds.

Located behind Airtel
According to data released by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) on June 8, Airtel has a top speed of 4.7 Mbps. State-owned BSNL has launched 4G services in select areas but its network speed is not yet on TRAI’s list.
