Pineapple Chutney Recipe: You may have tasted the taste of mango and tamarind chutney many times, but the recipe you are going to share with you today is called pineapple chutney. This chutney is very much loved in South India. In the Aravalli region of Mangalore, Karnataka and Udupi, this specialty is definitely made for every special festival. So let’s learn how to make this sweet and sweet pineapple sauce.

Ingredients for making pineapple sauce –
-1- chopped pineapple
-2 tsp moong dal flour
-2 Tbsp Urad Dice
-1/4 tsp fenugreek seeds
-1/4 tbsp grated coconut
– 5 g tamarind
-2 tsp jaggery powder
-8 – Red chilli
-1 tbsp mustard
-2 tsp sunflower oil
Curry leaves as needed
Asafoetida as needed
Salt as needed

How to Make Pineapple Sauce
To make the pineapple chutney, first take a bowl and add one-half glass of water with chopped pineapple and boil the pineapple for 15 minutes. Boil the pineapple well until you are soft.

In another skillet, combine gram lentils, urad dal and fenugreek and fry for 2 to 3 minutes on medium flame. You need to fry it until it is light brown. After this add the dry red pepper and fry again for 2 minutes. Now let all the prepared mixture in the skillet cool slightly. Put it in the mixer jar when it cools. Then add dry and fresh grated coconut powder to it.

Now add tamarind water to it and grind to a thin paste. After this, heat the second pan, add some oil to it and heat it. When the oil is hot, add the leaves of apophytida, mustard, curry leaves and soften it. After this, put the prepared mixture in a mixer jar and mix well with the help of a spoon. Now add some water and cook this entire mixture in medium heat for two to 3 minutes.

Now add the pre-cooked pineapple to the prepared mixture in the skillet and mix well. Then cook it together for 2 to 3 minutes. Your tasty pineapple chutney is ready. You can serve it with rice or bread.
