The central government has recently released a list of the best police stations in the country. The ranking is based on actions and actions taken by police stations to deal with cases such as property disputes, crimes against women and the underprivileged of society. In this ranking, Nongpoxskemai is ranked first in the Thoubal district of Manipur. The rankings include 10 police stations including Tamil Nadu, Arunachal Pradesh and Goa.
Every year, the Government of India selects the best performing police stations across the country to encourage the police to function more effectively and to bring about healthy competition among them. The police station is in the top 10 of the 2020 ranking
1. Nongpoxskemai is first in the Thoubal district of Manipur.
2. The AWPS Sumangalam Police Station in Salem, Tamil Nadu, is second on the list.
3. Kharsaang Police Station in Changlang District of Arunachal Pradesh is the third best performing party.
4. Fourth place is the ilimili police station in Surajpur district of Hattisgarh.
5. Ranked fifth in the list of the Sanguma Police Station, Goa.
6. Kalighat Police Station in Andaman and Nicobar is ranked sixth in the list for best performance.
7. In the eastern district of Sikkim, the Pyeongchang Police Station ranks seventh on the list.
8. Kant Police Station in Uttar Pradesh Moradabad is a strong show for good.
9. Khanvel police station in Dadra and Nagar Haveli has been ranked ninth.
10. Jammikunta Town PS station in Karimnagar, Telangana, is tenth in the country’s top police stations.
This was on the instructions of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi addressing the Chief of Police in Kutch, Gujarat, 2015. The Prime Minister had directed that the police stations should be set up and the parameters to be assessed based on their response.
The purpose was to rank the top 10 police stations in the country’s 16,671 police stations through data analysis, direct observation and public comment.
