On the fifth day of the World Test Championship (WTC) final against New Zealand, the Indian bowlers made a spectacular comeback, dismissing the Kiwis for 249 in their first innings. Continued at The Aegis Bowl, the fast bowlers retained their dominance over New Zealand batsmen. However, it was very difficult for Indian bowlers to send opposition leader Kane Williamson to the pavilion.
With New Zealand batsmen coming out quickly on one end, Williamson kept an eye on the other end and continued to run against bowlers Mohammad Shami, Ishant Sharma and Jaspreet Bumrah.
