Bangalore: Coronavirus continues to spread in the state, with a record 10,070 positives today, increasing the number to 6,11,837.
130 people have been killed in the state in the last 24 hours due to coronavirus. The number of deaths due to infection has risen to 8,994 in the state, the Department of Health and Family Welfare said.
Today, the highest number of 4,853 new cases have been reported in a single city in Bangalore, with the number of infected people in Silicon City rising to 2,37,516.
Today 7,144 have been discharged from the hospital, while the number of those who have been cured has risen to 4,92,412. A total of 1,10,412 people are receiving treatment at prescribed Kovid hospitals.
For the second time in three days, Karnataka records more than 10,000 #COVID19 cases in a single day.
