The practice of physically blocking drivers in the wake of the Corona virus and registering traffic violation cases has been temporarily restricted since March. Joint Police Commissioner of Traffic, Ravikanthegowda, said that traffic violations have increased after the lock-down, which has led to all kinds of precautionary measures being physically blocked by motorists.
Rs. 66,000 in hurried two-wheel drive, Rs. 66,000 in speeding, Rs. 5100 in speeding 17, drunk driving, 4 in drunken driving, Rs. Rs 1,96,900 in 480 cases of undisciplined tax and Rs 124600 in 273 uniformed cases.
In the city, traffic police have been fined 23,000 rupees by a two-wheeler owner for violating traffic rules 47 times.
