There have been 3930 new cases of corona virus infection in Uttar Pradesh. This is the third consecutive day when the number of new cases has been less than four thousand. In the last 24 hours, 52 more patients have died due to Kovid-19. In this way, the number of people who lost their lives in Corona has crossed 6000 in Uttar Pradesh to 6029.
Additional Chief Secretary of the Medical and Health Department of Uttar Pradesh, Amit Mohan Prasad said on Sunday that during the last 24 hours, 5,226 people have fully recovered from Kovid-19. He said that today is the 17th consecutive day when the number of patients recovering was higher than new cases. Prasad said that on September 17, more than 68 thousand patients of Kovid-19 were under treatment. Since then, this number has been steadily declining.
He informed that at present 46,385 patients of Corona are being treated. In this way, about 22,000 under-served patients have come down in the last 17 days. He informed that so far 3,62,052 persons have been completely recovered after infection in the state. In this way, the rate of cure of Kovid-19 patients in the state has increased to 87.35 percent.
Prasad said that since the number of new cases has started declining in the state, the number of dead is also decreasing daily. He said that 1,59,128 samples were tested in the state on Saturday. So far 1,07,39,169 samples have been tested in the state.
