Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) has taken an important decision on Sunday for the upcoming assembly elections in Bihar. In the meeting of the parliamentary party chaired by party president Chirag Paswan, it was decided not to enter the electoral arena under the leadership of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. Although the LJP may have made a distance from JDU in Bihar, the party will support the BJP.
All members were present in the meeting of Lok Janshakti Party’s parliamentary party. Animal husband Paras and Mehboob Ali Kaiser attended the meeting through video conferencing due to Corona virus and operation. The meeting decided that all the LJP MLAs will strengthen PM Modi, but the party will not back down on the issues raised through Bihar First, Bihari First for a year.
Adopting Nitish Kumar’s decision to distance from JDU, LJP National General Secretary Abdul Khaliq said, “LJP will not contest the upcoming Bihar assembly elections in alliance with JDU due to ideological differences.” The LJP will have a strong alliance with the BJP.

Earlier, Chirag Paswan had sought people’s blessings for his party’s ‘Bihar First Bihari First’ on Saturday. This document was indicating that the party is not going to contest the state assembly elections under ANIDA. Chirag Paswan had praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi in a statement and said that all candidates of his party will strengthen the Prime Minister’s hand. Describing the vision letter as inspired by PM Modi, Paswan made it clear that he had a complaint with the JDU, a party led by Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.
The meeting was to be held on Saturday
The LJP had already authorized Chairman Chirag Paswan to take any decision. Earlier, the meeting of the LJP parliamentary party was to be held on Saturday, but the meeting was postponed due to deteriorating health of party founder Ram Vilas Paswan. On the other hand, NDA’s partner BJP and JDU can announce seat sharing at any time on Sunday.
