Bidar: Bidar police have arrested a man accused of smuggling marijuana from Telangana to Maharashtra via Bidar district.
The accused was smuggling marijuana into Maharashtra from Telangana through National Highway 9 in Nalasapur in Aurad Taluk in the district. 28-year-old Devidas Rathod arrested. 5 lakh from the detainee. 50 kg of crop Cannabis has been confiscated. A Swift car was also seized. 10 lakh in total. Bidar police have confiscated valuables.
Janawada police raided the accused and confiscated marijuana. The accused originally belonged to Sangareddy of Telangana. This operation is under the guidance of SP Nagesh DL and led by ASP Gopal Bakoda. Police have conducted the operation and arrested the accused and handed him over to judicial custody. A case has been registered at the Janawada Police Station.
