79 for the final 5 overs, 197 target for the Stoinis Fifty- Kohli force

Dubai: Bengaluru Royals, set for a hat-trick of IPL 2020s, set a target of 197 runs against today’s Delhi Capitals.

Openers Shikhar Dhawan and Prithvi Shah started the explosive start for the Delhi Capitals, losing the toss. Dhawan made 20 off 14 balls with two boundaries.

Dhawan-Shah, who has been involved in 63 runs in the first 6 overs, recorded the 2nd highest power play score of the tournament. Earlier, Rajasthan had scored 69 runs in the power play.

Siraj managed to break the fast pace of Prithvi Shah, who was furious with the bat. Shah, who scored 42 off 23 balls, was caught by AB de Villiers in the bowling of Siraj. He joined up with then-Delhi captain Iyer Dhawan and tried to increase the team’s total with patience.
