Jharkhand Livelihood Promotion Hunar Abhiyan has been started for the empowerment of women of Jharkhand. Through this campaign, women of Jharkhand will be provided self-employment opportunities related to local resources including agro-based livelihoods, animal husbandry, forest produce, entrepreneurship. 17 lakh rural women of the state will be connected through Jharkhand Livelihood Promotion Hunar Abhiyan.

There were many such women in Jharkhand who used to sell handmade liquor on the road to run their household expenses. This scheme is being run only for women selling handgrip. Chief Minister Shri Hemant Soren Ji said that women do this work in compulsion. Now no woman will be seen selling handguns on the road. Because the government will now sell livelihoods to women who will be connected with livelihood through Jharkhand Livelihood Promotion Hunar Abhiyan. Employment and self-employment opportunities will be provided to rural women through this scheme.

Currently, only food products are made under this brand. In future, shoes, slippers, saris etc. will also be sold under the Palash brand.

By the government of jharkhand Jharkhand Aajivika Samvardhan Hunar Abhiyan A budget of 600 crore rupees has been set under the Chief Minister and the Chief Minister himself has distributed 150 crores rupees among the divisions of Dumka. The scheme will be operated by the Rural Development Department. The Chief Minister also said that the Government of Jharkhand is fully capable of providing employment. Daily employment is given to 650000 people.
