Yamaha’s gift to frontline workers, bumper cashback offer for scooters

Japanese two-wheeler maker Yamaha Motor Company is celebrating its 66th anniversary. This day was established in Japan on July 1, 1955. To make the occasion memorable, the company is making special contributions to frontline workers who are playing a key role in the fight against coronavirus (COVID-19) in India. Under this offer, frontline workers can get cashback on the purchase of company scooters.

According to information provided by Yamaha Motor India (YMI), the project has been labeled as a ‘thank you bonus’. Under this, all frontline workers, including sanitary workers, medical personnel, police and armed personnel and municipal employees, are being paid a cashback of Rs 5,000 at the Yamaha Fasino 125 or Ray Purchase

In addition, the Japanese bike maker has also taken some online and digital initiatives to thank frontline workers. It is worth noting that the ‘Thanksgiving Bonus’ scheme is only available in select cities including Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai and Pune. In addition, the validity of this offer is set for July 1 to July 7, 2021.
