Tata Motors will be releasing a new generation Tiago NRG hatchback next week. This is the sporty version of the company’s popular hatchback car Tata Tiago. The launch event will be held on August 4, for which the company has also sent out media invitations. Prior to its release, the company shared a glimpse of the car on social media. This is the second generation of the Tata Tiago NRG hatchback. Let us tell you that the company first released this 5-seater hatchback in 2018 with sporty design. However, it was closed last year.
This is the look of the car
New teasers of Tata Motors have revealed that the 2021 Tiago NRG will get a black roof, giving the car a dual tone look. Also, the company may introduce a new body color scheme. The teaser also denotes black door handles, ORVMs and taillights on the back. The new Tiago NRG can also get a redesigned bumper and new 14-inch alloy wheels. The black plastic coating can be seen on the side and the wheel arches.

The interior of the 2021 Tata Tiago NRG may be a fresh and sporty design. The dashboard can also be redesigned, like the updated version of Tiago. It is expected to offer black interior and sporty seats. The old Tiago NRG got orange elements around the AC vents and gear lever. At that time a 5-inch touchscreen infotainment system was offered.

Engine and potential price
The 2021 Tiago NRG is likely to get a 1.2-liter petrol engine. The company is also offering the same engine in Standard Tioga. The engine produces a maximum of 84 hp of power and 114 Nm of peak torque. In addition, a 5-speed manual transmission and an AMT gearbox option are available. The 2021 Tata Tiago NRG is likely to be between ₹ 6.50 lakh and ₹ 7 lakh (ex-showroom).
