Akash Chopra’s advice, Hardik Pandya should bowl on a tour of Sri Lanka

The one-day series between India and Sri Lanka will start from July 13. The absence of senior players Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma has led Shikhar Dhawan to the tour. Hardik Pandya is also part of the team decorated by young players. Hardik’s fitness has been a subject of debate for some time and he has not been seen bowling a single over in IPL 2021. In such a situation, the big question is whether or not he will bowl in Sri Lanka’s ODI and T20 series. Former India cricketer and commentator Akash Chopra feels that Hardik should bowl on the tour as the team is under him.

Dipdas Gupta said it was not proper at this time to remove Virat Kohli from the leadership

Speaking on his YouTube channel, Akash said: ‘They should bowl now. He bowled some overs in Australia, then you played against England and then IPL. You have not even bowled your team in the IPL. It was a very bad ride. You are looking for Test cricket, but they are not there for you because they are not bowling. If you look at your convenience, only one player like Hardik Pandya will give you the balance. Washington is a formidable team with Sunder Ravindra Jadeja as a spin all-rounder.
