Union Minister Amit Shah is now visiting Assam after West Bengal. On Sunday morning, Shah went to the famous Kamakhya Temple in Assam, where he was accompanied by Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal and Health Minister Hemant Biswa Sharma. Addressing the people in Assam, Amit Shah spoke about the BJP’s achievements in the Northeast and targeted the Congress.

During his visit, Home Minister Amit Shah said to Assam’s capital, Imphal, “The Northeast is known for separatism and violence. But in the last 6 years, almost all armed groups have put up arms after another. Violence has ceased.

“Modi Ji has taken many steps to ensure peace and development in the Northeast … 644 activists of eight militant groups surrendered to the mainstream with more than 2,500 weapons,” said Amit Shah.

Shah said the Manipuris had forgotten when they were demanding an internal line permit for the original residents, and that it was unfair to the original inhabitants of Manipur in 2019 not to issue an internal line permit and worked to issue permits without asking the inner line.

Amit Shah, who attacked the Congress, said: “For a long time, the Congress ruled the Northeast, but did nothing. They did not speak to extremist groups.

He said, the area had been flooded before but now there is a flood of development. “There has been a decrease in terrorism and other terrorists are waiting to come to the mainstream. Prime Minister Modi has come here many times and the central minister comes here every 15 days,” Amit Shah said.
