Azhar Ali wants to play for Rahul Dravid and Laxman for the team

Former Pakistan Test captain Azhar Ali has answered all fans’ questions on Twitter during the Q&A. At this time, when Azhar was asked which Indian batsman he would like to play in Test cricket, he responded by taking not one but two names. Both these names are not Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli but VVS Laxman and Rahul Dravid. Azhar wants to play Test cricket for these two Indian batsmen when the opportunity arises.

CricketTracker’s official Twitter handle was asked, “Which Indian batsman would you like to play Test cricket with?” In response, Azhar wrote, “Very special Laxman and Rahul Dravid.”

Azhar Ali has played 87 Tests and 53 ODIs for Pakistan. Azhar has scored 6579 runs at an average of 43.28 in 162 Test innings. He has scored a total of 18 centuries with his bat. 33 fifties were recorded in the name of Azhar Ali. His best score is 302 not out in Test cricket. Rahul Dravid and VVS Laxman are considered the best Test players in the world.

Together, they have led Team India to victory in many matches. Together, the two played a key role in winning Team India against Australia at the Eden Gardens ground in Kolkata in 2001. Team India faced a follow-on in the first innings and India lost four wickets including Sachin Tendulkar and Sourav Ganguly for 232 in the second innings. Laxman scored 281 and Dravid scored 180 to restore India.
