Bajaj can bring a new electric bike, the company files a FileReader trademark

Two-wheeler company Bajaj Auto is set to launch a new electric two-wheeler in India. The company has filed a new trademark for the name Freerider in India. This is revealed by a recent listing on the Patent Design and Trademark website of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry. The company applied for this trademark on March 1, 2021 and was approved on June 21.

Bajaj Electric can bring the bike
There is no known information about where the company uses this name. There have been reports that the Freerider may be a battery-powered motorcycle. Let us tell you that Bajaj Flour and Bajaj Fluir were registered in India earlier this year. These names are also used for electric bikes.

Bajaj can use the e-Pilin platform for its own motorcycle and name it Freerider. Nowadays, all two-wheeler companies are adding smartphones to their scooters and motorcycles. In that case, it could be the name of Bajaj’s Bluetooth connectivity software. However, only time will tell how true these rumors are.

The best-selling Bajaj Chetak Electric
Currently, Chetak Electric is the only electric vehicle with Bajaj Auto. The scooter has been well received in the Indian market. But due to limited production capacity and availability, only limited units are being sold. The Government of India has recently increased its incentives for electric two wheelers to increase the sales of battery powered vehicles.
