BBMP continues to clean city railways

Bangalore: At the request of the Railway Department, BBMP has decided to clean up the city’s rail tracks.

BBMP is planning to install marshals and a camera to clean up the trash while rails are high.

We have identified about 20 places from Kengeri to Majaschik, areas that do not have garbage on the doorstep and people are throwing them along the rails so that information on those areas is asked.

“All areas will be cleared in the next two weeks,” said DG Randeep, BBMP Special Commissioner for Solid Waste Management.

The cleanup will be carried out from Yeshwantpur to RR and Hoodi, as well as the KR Pura and Whitefield railway tracks.

The BBMP has gone ahead with the task of clearing garbage after the Railway Division Manager wrote a letter to the Chief Secretary.
