To update Aadhaar, keep these records with you
To update your Aadhaar card online, keep your Aadhaar linked mobile number because the OTP will be sent to the mobile number during the update. Explain that you can update your name, address, gender, date of birth, mobile number and email address online. For other changes, you will need to visit the Aadhaar Enrollment Center.

Follow this process to update information online in Aadhaar
>> In the process of making changes to Aadhaar, first go to Aadhaar Self Service Update Portal.

>> enter your Aadhaar number here. After this you will get a one time password on the registered mobile number. After this, login with OTP and go to the update portal.

>> Then click on the ‘Data Update Request’ button given above. After that select the option you want to update / improve. You can update all options if you wish. After selecting the option Aadhaar Update Form will open. Here you can modify the information to suit your needs. Here the name and address information are updated in Hindi and English.

>> then re-check the new information you provided. After completing the verification, click on submit the renewal request.

You will also need to provide documents related to the information you wish to change. No records are required to make changes in email id, mobile number and gender. But for changes in name, date of birth and address, you will need to provide relevant documents. These documents are valid – passport, PAN card, ration / PDS photo card, voter ID and driving license.
