Bigg Boss 4 Telugu: Samantha Akkineni to replace Nagarjuna Akkineni as a temporary host?
The fourth season of Bigg Boss Telugu is currently getting good ratings on the TRP charts and if the audience is enjoying the drama and entertainment on the show, we can see Samantha Akkineni as a temporary replacement for Nagarjuna Akkineni. His upcoming film is Wild Dog Shooting. Over the weekend he was expected to juggle between film (to be shot in Manali) and Bigg Boss Telugu, looking at the current logistics, the makers have approached Samantha to organize some episodes in his father’s absence – In-Law Nagarjuna Akkineni. Whether or not the actress agrees to this is uncertain. In fact, late last season, we saw Ramya Krishnan hosting some episodes when Nagarjuna Akkineni was out for a while.
From a professional standpoint, Samantha Akkineni is gearing up for her web-series with The Family Man 2. Interestingly, in the first season of The Family Man, South actress Priyamani made an appearance. Apparently, the actress will be portraying the role of terrorist in the web series. Talking about the cast and characters, Manoj Bajpayee will be joined by Srikanth Tiwari, Priyamani Suchitra Tiwari, Shareeb Hashmi JK Talpade, Shoya Dhanwantari Zoya, Sharan Kelkar Aravind, Darshan Kumar Major Sameer, Shalib Tahil Sajid, Samantha Akkineni and others. The creators of The Family Man, Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK have previously spoken to Express.co.uk about The Family Man 2 and said that its official announcement will be coming soon. Krishna DK said, “I am sure there will be announcements coming soon about this.
Samantha Akkineni has signed Katu Vakula Rendu Kadal with Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanatara in the lead roles. The film will be directed by Nayanthara’s boyfriend Vignesh Sivan.
