The dead body of Cabinet Minister Vinod Singh was brought to Bathna village of Mansahi block of his ancestral village Katihar at 7:50 am on Tuesday morning. The minister’s body was brought from Patna to his ancestral village by an ambulance wrapped in a tricolor. The ambulance in which the body was brought was accompanied by his colleagues Arun Sinha, Sushil Kumar Singh, Sumit Kumar, Pappu Kumar. As soon as the mortal body reached a large ancestral house, the atmosphere became turbid.

All members of the family, including wife Nisha Singh and his two daughters and mother, clinging to the mortal body, wept. As soon as the mortal body reached the village, the public gathered there to pay their last visit to Vinod Singh. Along with the village, large number of people from the district and other districts of the state also started coming to the village. He was cremated with state honors on the Ganga coast of Manihari. BJP state president cum MP Dr. Sanjay Jaiswal, Health Minister Mangal Pandey, MLA Tar Kishore Prasad, MLC Ashok Kumar Agarwal, Samrat Chaudhary, former Minister Nikhil Chaudhary, MLA Poonam Paswan, former MLC Rajvanshi Singh including a large number of late Singh’s A floral ring was laid on the body and paid tribute.

State President Sanjay Jaiswal said that the party has lost a true worker. Prayed to God for the peace of the departed soul. Minister Mangal Pandey said that the party as well as the society has suffered a great loss due to the death of Vinod Singh. God bless the family in times of sorrow. His last journey left from the big bathing house of Manasahi block at 12:30 pm. A large number of people from all classes went to the Manihari Ganga Ghat.
