The Chief Minister also inaugurated the data center established at Flood Management Improvement Assistant Center, Anisabad, Patna as part of the flood management reform plan. Establishment of Physical Modeling Center
In this episode, a Physical Modeling Center is being set up at Veerpur and Supaul under the Center of Excellence. Whenever there was work on a river-related scheme earlier, the engineer of Water Resources Department had to go to CWPRS Pune. With the establishment of India’s second physical paradigm center in Bihar, the modeling of the irrigation generation project will now be done, along with diagnosing the problem of floods caused by rivers flowing from the Himalayas. This will provide modeling facilities to not only Bihar but also all the states of North India.
