Bihar ITI: There are 2500 vacant seats in government ITIs in Bihar

Due to Corona, ITI positions in Bihar are not filled. Because of Corona, negotiations had to be stopped in the middle. The state government ITI colleges have emptied about 2500 seats. BCECE has also applied for vacancies, but the BCECEB has stopped the counseling process due to corona infection. The board has not yet released any information on when the counseling will take place. Counseling is also not appropriate in such a situation.

At the same time, about 35 hundred seats are vacant in private ITI colleges in Bihar. The admission process for the 2020-21 session on ITI has not been completed so far. There are around 25 thousand ITI colleges in Bihar. BCCECB OSD Anil Kumar Sinha said that applications for the vacant positions have been requested. There have been many petitions, but because of Corona, the consultation process has been stopped. At the same time, the list has been handed over to a private ITI firm. All these institutions are required to get admission under Supreme Court order.
