The assembly elections in West Bengal may be far away, but the law and order situation seems to be deteriorating from now. On Sunday, a BJP leader Manish Shukla was shot dead in North 4 Parganas district. After this incident, where the BJP Central Supervisor of West Bengal Kailash Vijayvargiya has demanded a CBI inquiry into the entire matter, the Governor has summoned the Chief Minister, DGP and Additional Chief Secretary (Home).
Kailash Viyasvargiya said- “BJP worker Manish Shukla was shot dead in front of Titagarh police station (North 24 Parganas district). The case should be investigated by the CBI. ”
On the other hand, taking cognizance of this incident, Governor Jagdeep Dhankar has summoned Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. He said – West Bengal’s Additional Chief Secretary (Home), Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and DGP have been summoned for the brutal killing of counselor Manish Shukla in Titagarh and deteriorating law and order.
