No party has received a clear majority in the results of the 40-member Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) survey. The ruling Bodo People’s Front (BPF) is emerging as the single largest party winning 17 seats. The United People’s Party Liberals (UPPL) won 12 seats. The BJP won nine seats, while the Congress and the Ghansabha Party (GSP) won one seat each. An election official gave this information Sunday.
