Belgaum: A collision between a Bulero and a Tata Ace has left seven people dead.
The accident occurred on the Savadatti-Dharwad State Highway, killing seven people including a Tata Ace driver and six women. All the deceased are said to be residents of Chinchnoor village of Ramadurga taluk.
At Tata Ace, he went to work at Moraba village in Dharwad. Bulero was moving from Daswad to Dharwad. The Tata Ace collided with a Bulero vehicle on the Savadatti-Dharwad state highway. Six people died and more than 10 were seriously injured.
The injured were rushed to Savadatti Taluk Hospital. But a woman died without treatment. The number of casualties has risen to seven. Families near the hospital have reached the end.
A case has been registered at Savadatti station and ASP Amarnath Reddy visited the site and inspected it.
