Channapatna doll in place of ‘traditional postal envelope’ – Indian News Live

Bangalore: The Prime Minister Narendra Modi has called on entrepreneurs to make India a global toy center.

The postal crossing of the 151st World Postcard Day on October 1 at the request of the Postcrossing Society of India will be released on the issue of Toys of India, a special postcard envelope of the 11 states of India’s General Post Office (GPO) in the Cloud Hall and various postal zones.

Karnataka Zonal Chief Post Master General Sharda Sampath will be releasing a special postal envelope of Karnataka’s Channapatnam doll. Senior Philatelist Jagannamani, AR’PSL’s Ramu Srinivasan and Post Crossing Society of India member Akhilesh Kumar Mathira are also in attendance. Similarly, the major postmaster generals in the respective states will issue postal envelopes.
