Kulwant tries to use his family members emotionally and comes up with a suicide plan. She spreads the news that she is suicidal and it is a shock to everyone and she feels that their focus is diverted from the subject. Kulwant urges the police to take his own life by firing their licensed firearms and give full stop to the matter. Meher senses his drama and asks him to quit acting.
Kulwant cries and says that the kids at Param School will definitely mock him. Sarabjit enters and tells everyone, instead of being mocked, Param is greeted with a laugh because the students admire the police who have taken the perpetrator and it certainly sets an example. Kulwant instructs Mehar to keep Sarabjit out of his sight and threatens to reveal Manav’s true face.

Meher asks Kulwant about Sarabjit not yet told about Manav being alive. She warns him to tell her otherwise it will ruin everyone’s life. Mehr says that she did not tell Sarabjit’s happy little family because she did not want to ruin Sarabjit’s happy little family because her husband’s past love affair would definitely affect everything.
Kulwant tells her that Manav will free him from jail. She further blackmails Manav while attending a video call. She orders him to help her not go to court as she has gone through a DNA test and is now worried about the results. She warns him to help her.
