England cricketers bias in IPL – Gavaskar outrage

Abu Dhabi: The suspicion that England cricketers are playing partisan cricket in the 2020 edition of the IPL has come to light after the match against Rajasthan and Kolkata.

Joffra Archer, the fast bowler against England captain Ian Morgan in the match, is suspected of not throwing at least one bouncer. Cricket analyst Sunil Gavaskar is on the same issue.

Ian Morgan was bowled by Kolkata Knight Riders for the loss of 4 wickets for 106 runs in 13.1 overs. Morgan, who scored 34 off 23 balls, was failing to middle the ball. Yet Archer and Curran never threw at least one bouncer against him. Morgan, who hit 2 sixes in slog overs, was useful to the team. Archer, who is regarded as the fastest bowler in the IPL, has never had a bouncer in the match. I would not have expected it from a player like Archer. Sunil Gavaskar alleges that Curran had thrown a foultas into the air and fired his captain’s sixes. In the match, Kolkata were 174 for six and Rajasthan could only manage to score 137 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in their allotted 20 overs.
