1 cotton white underwear is best
Dr. Anita says, “Women should be very careful when choosing underwear for themselves. Cotton white underwear is a good choice. Cotton is a cloth that keeps your skin dry and cool. Wearing cotton underwear reduces the chances of bacterial growth because it allows air movement into the skin. Because of this, moisture does not accumulate.
Wash underwear with a very mild detergent and, if possible, wash them separately from other fabrics.
2 Change under the garment after exercise
The genitals should be well switched off after wearing an underwear and wet swimsuit during exercise to prevent infection.
3 Tight pants or leggings can also be dangerous
Avoid wearing too tight or tight underwear or pants or leggings. They reduce air movement and cause sweating in the genitals. Excessive sweating or moisture accumulation can lead to the development of bacteria or yeasts, which can lead to vaginal infections.
4 Dio and no perfume
Many times to avoid odors, girls begin applying perfume to their intimate area. But it is dangerous. Dr. Anita says, “Do not use a perfume or deodorant around the vagina, as it can cause allergic reactions or rashes.”
5 Wash yourself with lukewarm water
Women should clean their intimate area with very mild soap and water or just lukewarm water. Using chemicals such as fragrant washers or soaps can change the pH of the vagina, allowing bacteria or yeast to grow.

Replace your towel regularly and do so every day if possible because damp and used towels are a source of infection.
Replace pads in 6 periods
Replace the sanitary pads at regular intervals. If the sanitary pad is not replaced for a long time, it can cause skin rash and odor.
Women with normal flow should change hygiene pads every 6-8 hours. The same applies on days when the flow is low. Menstrual cups or tampons can also be used during menstruation.
7 Pay attention to your diet, too
The most important thing to pay attention to is the need to eat a healthy and balanced diet. It is rich in fruits, vegetables and fiber. Dr. Anita points out, “Foods like molasses contain good bacteria, which keep vaginal flora intact. If you have frequent bladder infections, drink plenty of water and drink other fluids.
