For the first time, the BJP has consistently solved Digvijay Singh over Kamal Nath. BJP is attacking Nath this time, even if Kamal Nath is the area Congress president and Digvijay is Madhya Pradesh’s second axis. In the past, no one came to the rescue of Digvijay in the Congress, and now Kamal Nath is doing the same. No Congress leaders are coming forward to defend Kamal Nath. Digvijay does not seem to be sounding himself against the attack on Kamal Nath. The BJP is not aggressive against Digvijay for the first time in 17 years. In the 2003 assembly elections, the BJP gave the then Chief Minister Digvijay Singh the title of Shri Bantadhar.
Since then, the BJP is presenting Digvijay’s rule as the worst phase of any election in Madhya Pradesh. BJP figures compare the success of the Shivraj government with that of Digvijay. The BJP is raising the issues of the poor including roads, electricity, water and employment. Now this is the first election in which only Kamal Nath is at the center of all the allegations and every allegation of the BJP. This is the reason why Kamal Nath is surrounded in Madhya Pradesh these days.
The BJP is blaming the corporate like big industrial. It is alleged that during his 15-month tenure, he was confined to Chhindwara. No one from Kamal Nath’s government cabinet has come forward to answer the allegations, while Rajya Sabha MP Vivek Tankha has not spoken.
Leaders like Digvijay Singh, Vivek Tankha, Suresh Pachauri, Kantilal Bhooria, Arun Yadav and Ajay Singh have been at the forefront of the 2018 Assembly elections. BJP leaders are attacking Kamal Nath from various platforms, and the answer is not being accepted by the Congress. “We consider it a great achievement of the Congress that Kamal Nath is the only major face of our election campaign,” he said.
